Howdy Friends,
The Project 365 portion of the blog is complete. I took photos everyday [I missed August 7th, 8th, and 9th of 2011 due to moving/internet issues (but I had a few bonus posts in there so I figure it all evens out)] for one year.
Photograph ∈ ℜ² lasted from April 15, 2010 – April 14th, 2011. I began this project as a positive way to get through a smoking addiction. I quickly fell in love with photography and the post-production of photos. It was a tough year and I kind of lost steam here at the end but I’ve also never been more proud of a project that I was involved with.
What this means to my reader: I will still post photos but on a much smaller scale. I plan on having the blog updated every Sunday (regardless of when the photos were taken that week). It’ll mean no more cat photos unless I meant to post a cat photo. Overall, the quality of photographs should increase and the frequency of post will decrease.
I also plan on continuing the Project 365 idea with something other than photographs. The idea of learning something new and doing it everyday for a year is a crazy test of will power and I really enjoy that sort of challenge. This next year from April 15th, 2011 – April 14th, 2012 I plan on bettering myself through a daily dose of running/yoga/working out. I’m still trying to figure out how to make myself accountable but until then I’ll just work on the honor system.
To anyone who actively/accidentally viewed the blog: Thank you. Seeing any sort of number on my stats page made my work seem important which, in turn, made it easier to post everyday.
