Howdy Friends,
It was a good day. It’s still going too.
Today is Shannon’s birthday. She is 25 today (really she’s 26 but don’t let her know that you know). We started the day with oatmeal pancakes. This is basically like starting the day with a cup of coffee and a plate full of delicious oatmeal cookies soaking in maple syrup. Not a bad way to start the day.
OHHHHH backup a bit to before said pancakes. We woke up in our AWESOME new bed. Apparently while sleeping you should feel comfortable, who knew?
Back up to speed. We then moved on to explore Portland’s Japanese garden. I took 268 photos there and didn’t feel like a hipster while doing it. I just felt like a tourist.
We just got back to the house from eating dinner and are about to eat some cake. THEN we are going to a show (Okkervil River). It was a busy and fun day. I think Shannon had a good time and that makes me happy.
